System Shock was formed in Norrköping, Sweden by guitarist Lukas Bergis. Soon enough, a bunch of gifted musicians was recruited. After securing George Kolias' presence behind the drum kit, System Shock started composing and rehearsing the material for their debut. In the first days of 2004, Dutch label New Aeon/Karmageddon Media who had listened to some material in demo state, contacted the band and made an offer they couldn't refuse. System Shock entered Tico Tico Studios in Finland and recorded “Arctic Inside”, the bands debut, due to release this September.
