Album facts
Overview Satureye started out in the summer of 2000 when Merciless vocalist Rogga did a guest appearance on a demo recording with the band Entropy (lead by Henke and Norsken). As this worked so well they decided to continue the collaboration under the moniker Satureye and Entropy was laid to rest. A first demo was recorded, but not officially released since the band was still looking for the right bass player to join their Thrash squad. In January 2001 the bass player Jocke joined in and the line-up was finally complete, which later on that year resulted in the great “Silvery Souls” demo. The demo received excellent reviews and even became “Demo of the year” in Swedish Close-Up Magazine! Well … we all know how many bands came from Sweden and how many recording are done in this Metal country every month, so be sure that Satureye has a very high standard and stands out from the masses! A few more promo recordings were done, mostly to see the development on the new songs and eventually Dutch label Karmegeddon Media offered the band a record-deal of which “Where Flesh and Divinity Collide” is the first attack to gain worldwide supremacy … Thrash ‘til Death! |
