Overview
“As we are heading towards 2005 it is already more than 10 years ago when we released our debut album 'Prepare to Meet Thy Doom'. We noticed that this album has become hard to get, since the original label Foundation 2000 (known from the early releases of bands like The Gathering & Gorefest) called it a day in 1996. Re-releasing this album has crossed our mind several times, since we have been around for so long and new fans only recently discovered Occult. To spice our debut-CD up a little, we thought it would be cool to include our only demo from 1993 as bonus. One will notice the strange vocals on this album, which were caused by a serious throat infection back then. Due to time limitations there was no time to record the vocals again, which was a big disappointment! Re-doing the vocals crossed my mind of course, but we decided to leave it as it is. After this album we played lots of gigs and toured with bands like Marduk, Immortal, Desaster, Cradle of Filth and many more. We hope you enjoy this CD as much as we do, we have always played Black/ Thrash Metal and we will always do!”
